Lake Ohrid Boat Adventure
If you're dreaming of a peaceful day on the water, this boat excursion across Lake Ohrid is the perfect escape. From ancient history to hidden beaches, this journey blends relaxation, culture, and culinary delight.
Bay of Bones
We set sail from the beach in Peshtani aboard a small boat and head toward the Bay of Bones—a reconstructed prehistoric settlement dating back to 1200 BC. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the museum and learn about life in the Bronze Age. The setting is spectacular, offering incredible photo opportunities of the lake and surrounding hills.
Trpejca: Macedonia’s Coastal Gem
Next, we cruise toward Trpejca, often called the “Macedonian Saint-Tropez.” This charming lakeside village is known for its laid-back vibe and stunning views. We’ll enjoy coffee at a cozy beach café and take a short walk through the village. From the viewpoint above Trpejca, you’ll capture breathtaking shots of the lake and shoreline.
Saint Naum Monastery & Springs
Our journey continues to the Monastery of Saint Naum, founded in the 9th century by one of Macedonia’s most revered saints. The guide will share stories about Saint Naum’s life and legacy, and you’ll have time to explore the monastery grounds.
Nearby, you can hop into a rowing boat to visit the crystal-clear springs that feed Lake Ohrid. After the boat ride, you’ll have free time to wander, relax, or browse the local shops.
Macedonian Grill Feast
From Saint Naum, we sail to a secluded spot for a mouthwatering Macedonian barbecue. Expect a generous spread of grilled meats, fresh salads, dessert, and unlimited drinks. Vegetarian guests are treated to a full vegetable grill—just let us know in advance.
Swim at a Hidden Beach
Before heading back, we’ll stop at a private beach near Trpejca, accessible only by boat. You’ll have about an hour to swim, sunbathe, and unwind in this tranquil setting. As we return to Peshtani, enjoy music and drinks on board—ending the day with good vibes and great memories.
